Hi there!

Thanks for stopping by my little spot on the web. My name is Kim and I am hobbyist photographer in Austin, Texas. Yee-Haw!

I share my home with my husband, three crazy kids and one rescue dog.

My photography mainly invloves my family, our friends and our life. I also have a passion for photographing animals. I volunteer my time photographing some of the dogs at my local county shelter--I love telling their story and showcasing their personalities to help them find their forever family.

Harley in Hutto

At the beginning of the year, I started following One Eleven East on Instagram. One Eleven is a new event and studio space in historic downtown Hutto. I was in love the moment I saw its windows, its white walls, its wood floors and its historic yet modern feel. I felt inspired and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt that way. I just knew a shelter pup would be so fun to take pictures of there. Knowing a shelter dog certainly isn’t their target demographic, I contacted Erika, the owner, anyway, and explained the work I do for the shelter and asked if she would let us bring a dog there for a shoot. To my delight, she said yes! I was so excited. My partner in crime, April, always chooses the dogs we work with. Harley was the perfect choice.

Harley was a perfect gentleman and as you can see, so handsome. He is another hidden gem available for adoption at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter. To learn more about him here.

Each month, One Eleven hosts a social event. The next event is Derby themed and they are generously donating a portion of ticket sales to the shelter. How awesome is that?! The link will tell you how to purchase tickets.
